Sisterhood is an ambitious project to expand the narrative of the cult classic visual novel, Katawa Shoujo, by adapting the eponym epic-length work of fanfiction into a full-fledged visual novel. This is an epilogue story to Hanako's route, starting a few days after her good ending. It's highly recommended you (re)read Katawa Shoujo before experiencing Sisterhood. The story picks up after Hisao and Hanako's intimate moment in the park—a moment to cement their newfound status as boyfriend and girlfriend. Lilly and Akira, who had previously been summoned to Scotland, must now answer their parents' request to move back in with their estranged family. While Hanako is, for the most part, the central character of Sisterhood, the perspective will shift between different people throughout the story. Hisao, carefully treading the waters of his newfound condition and relationship; Hanako, learning to open up to people and find her own path in life; Lilly, balancing her family by blood and her family by bond; and Akira, navigating family politics and climbing the corporate ladder. Sisterhood is a mod for Katawa Shoujo - Re-Engineered, a fan-made HD remaster that includes modding support. Sisterhood is a work in progress. Act 1 is complete and covers chapters 1 through 17 of the original fanfiction. Act 2 will cover chapters 17 alt through 34. Chapters 35 to 60+ will be covered in subsequent releases.
