Looking up at the sky, it suddenly started showering. The asphalt, hot from the daytime, releases steam as the rain hits. It is a typical summer scene. Within the crowd of people moving around, there was a girl looking up at the sky with an expression of grief. She didn’t have an umbrella, so the girl hid in the crowd and used them as an umbrella. The girl was wearing a summer school uniform. If it gets struck with rain, it’ll become transparent. With her white skin, it seems even her blood vessels would be seen. The girl must have wanted to go home immediately… However, she made a fatal error in judgement. She breaks away from the crowd and into a small alley. After hesitating, she moves through the alley at a quick pace. Usually, one wouldn’t travel this dark route… obvious by her facial expression. However, under these circumstances, it can’t be avoided. It is not a suitable place for a young girl. Already in the rain, she runs through the darkness. Her feeling of uneasiness continues to increase. God is really fickle. If there was no sudden rain… would she have been saved? The moment the girl left the main street, a sound cut through the wet air. The noise from a low blow does not reach the noisy crowd, vanishing like mist. She could not scream or cry, just tremble in fear unable to speak. A metal bat sinks into the girl’s face, her beautiful features have been horribly mangled. Was she asking her parents to save her? Or was she praying to god? Only bits of noise come out as her body goes into repeated convulsions. The attacker showed no hesitation as he continued to swing the aluminum bat. Her ankle was easily grasped, and she was dragged off into the darkness. What will happen to the butterfly caught in the spiderweb? It should be obvious, whatever it wants. In a sense, there are no ethics. What side are humans on? The killer? The killed? …of course it has to be the killer. What is beyond life and death? We must confirm it.
